New School Assembly ‘Celebrating Family Love’– available now to watch

We are very excited to be able to offer you a fantastic new resource to help your school celebrate the World Meeting of Families, which is taking place on the 22nd to 26th June this year.

Every three years the Catholic Church gathers to celebrate family life. These celebrations take place in different countries around the world, and this year’s celebration will be held in Rome. Pope Francis knows that we can’t all go to Rome to celebrate, so he is asking us all to celebrate Rome at Home

To help with this, we have worked alongside storytelling agency Ministory, to bring you a visually engaging video-led assembly to use in your school. Both primary and secondary versions of the assembly are available.

These animated video assemblies include a range of guest speakers, reflections, and prayers, and will be the perfect resource to use with your students to help them think about and reflect on the theme of family love.

We have also produced a free resource pack to help with your celebrations. This pack includes a range of materials, ideas and resources to help with your school to join in with the World Meeting of Family celebrations, taking place in June this year.

The ‘Celebrating Family Love’ Assembly is available to view and download at www.catholiceducation.org.uk along with the free resource pack and additional resources to help your school engage with this celebration.

We are encouraging all schools to use the assemblies anytime around the 22 – 26 June, when the World Meeting of Families celebration is taking place in Rome.
